Real Time Body Posture Detection

Using MPU-6050 wearable devices were developed which would be attached to the backbone of a person and took differential readings to map the backbone orientation and on detecting the wrong posture informed the user by providing haptic feedback. Devices were arranged in star topology where one device acted as the central node and the other sent to that central node. Then the central node would compare the data from the other devices to provide feedback. Moreover, the central node contained Bluetooth which can be connected to the Windows app or android app and provided real-time animation of user posture and also provided visualization of user’s activity such as for how much time the device was used and for how much time posture was correct or wrong.
